Manifesto
KÜKs (Kamikaze Über Krafters) are a growing community of makers of 'stuff' (from the sublime to the quirky, humorous & unhinged). It's grown from often hushed, closeted conversations about how much we love making "stuff" and the joy and peace it brings. But it's not just 'stuff'. It's 'stuff that matters' in some way: stuff that matters to us, stuff that makes us and others happy or stuff that helps the world in some way.
KÜKs wants makers, creators and artists alike to come out of the closet and collaborate with others who need to download and de-stress by making weird and wonderful stuff in the company of other odd bods.
KÜKs gather once a month (on and offline), to get down and dirty and make 'stuff' regardless of whether it's beautiful, useful or just plain bizarre.
It caters for all levels: from the making novice with just a desire to make stuff to the master crafter who can pat their heads & rub their tummy at the same time.
...and as we build KÜK we will also be hooking up online where you can blog, post your show & tell, find out how to do stuff, source materials, make new friends, get motivated - and even sell stuff
